Full-Service Catering

The professional staff at Kingwood Resort is always available to assist you in planning your event. Each and every function is handled on an individual basis. We guarantee ambiance, cuisine and service second to none. Kingwood Golf Club and Resort prides itself on superior service and exquisite cuisine. Our diversity and ability to add that special touch makes our club the premier facility in Rabun County. Chef Vijay Selvaraj prides himself on the highest quality of food, as well as a wide range of food that will lend itself to all occasions.

Menu Planning

Arrangements for all meetings or functions will be handled through the catering department. To allow adequate time for preparation, menu plans must be completed two weeks in advance. Prices are subject to change due to market fluctuations. The resort prepares an ample amount of food to ensure guests a well-stocked table and an attractive presentation. With this policy, we must decline carry out containers during or after service. It is resort policy that no food or beverage of any kind, unless purchased from Kingwood Resort, may be brought on the Resort's premises from an outside source.

Service Charge and Tax

Food and beverage charges are subject to an 18% service charge. All charges, including service and miscellaneous charges are subject to a 7% sales Tax.

Room and Rental Fees

A room rental may apply to your functions. A $2.00 per person set-up fee will apply for all functions.

Room Reservations

To accommodate events of various sizes, we reserve the right to change rooms. If and when this situation occurs, we make every effort to give advance notice and will only move a party to a room where guests would be comfortable.

Guarantees and Deposits

We require that your final guest count be submitted in to the catering Office two weeks prior to the function. this guarantee is not subject to reduction. We will be prepared to serve 10% over this guaranteed number. If a guarantee is not submitted by that time, the approximate attendance you listed on the contract, or the total guests served, which ever is higher, will be charged. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve any room or function. Deposits can only be applied to the specific date of the function and not multiple bookings. Deposits are required at the time of confirmation and can be charged directly to a member's account or with a credit card. A 72-hour prepayment for the guaranteed amount will be required for all functions. Member functions may be charged to the member account.

Set Menus

Pre-arranged / set menus are required for any party of 12 or more. Parties of 12 or less may order from the a la carte menu if desired.

Dress Code

Members and guests, as well as entertainers, will strictly adhere to the dress code at Kingwood Golf Club & Resort. The club prohibits denim of any kind. Bermuda shorts and collar shirts are required for men. Any guest appearing at any function who does not meet dress code requirements will be refused service until such time as they can meet the proper dress code. If you have counted that guest as part of your guarantee, you still will be charged for them in full and we will not adjust billing.

Damage and Liability

The Kingwood Resort shall not assume responsibility for damages or loss, due to any reason, or any merchandise or articles brought into the resort or any items left unattended. The costs for repairs generated by any damage to the resort property caused by guests or hired personnel, such as band members, will be the responsibility of the host.
